Yesterday was a typical late June day in Seattle – overcast but warm and leaning a little towards muggy. As the day progressed I was preparing for the idea that we wouldn’t have much in the way of a sunset for last night’s engagement session. Overcast is actually great for portrait photography – especially with all of the urban spots we visited and the clouds were a welcomed addition to the first half of our session. They are not nearly as exciting when you want a sunset at the beach and I was happy to see the sun break through just in time to create the warm sunset colors we had been waiting so long to see.
