Maternity Portrait Session: Ze and Susan – Nisqually and Tumwater Washington

One of the best parts of my job is that I get to meet some amazing people – and every now and then we become and stay good friends long after their wedding albums have been delivered. Such is the case with Susan and Ze who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Eli – due in two weeks.

I still remember after their wedding pausing to wonder how they ended up with such an amazing group of friends – not just the type of person that is friendly on wedding day – but people of genuinely good character and substance. It didn’t take too long for me to figure it out – Susan and Ze’s wonderful group of friends is a true reflection of who they are as people – and to be able to consider them amongst my closest friends has improved my life more than any hot waterfall/passionate sunset at the ocean ever could…that said I loved Susan’s idea of returning to the waterfall for their maternity pictures but alas we learned that our waterfalls are in a private park that closes at 4:30…which would have been fine had we not gotten there at 4:25. Such is life…

We still ended up with tons of fun and vibrant pictures – and some very out of season warm sunshine. Here are a few favorites:

Having some fun with sun flair and some super wide angle perspective:

More flair

Love the color of fallen leaves…

Of course I have to have something in black and white…

Nourishing the artistic part of my soul…
