Even though I’ve been to Point Defiance more times than I could ever count I like to look around a little before each session and see what I have to work with. This was one of those days where it seems the park came alive with possibilities and my mind was flooded with ideas. I couldn’t have asked for better shooting weather – a moderatley warm afternoon with a sky full of white clouds. Being early October we also had a stunning array of colors to work with as the leaves had changed to bright oranges, yellows, and reds in many areas. And in Mariah I had a fun, easy going subject that seemed very comfortable and natural in front of the camera.
