A few weeks ago I posted a sneak peak favorite image from Katie’s senior portrait session and promised to follow up with more images. During that time I’ve been making changes to the look and functionality of the blog and have decided this post was a great opportunity to start a new way of presenting blog images. My hope is this will be a faster loading small screen friendly option that sill makes it easy to scroll through the bigger and prettier versions of the images I post. Simply click on a thumbnail to expand the image and click again to retract it. You can also use the arrow keys to scroll through the complete gallery.
We started our session at the beautiful Lord Hill Farms in Snohomish. Lord Hill Farms is also a popular venue for weddings and set up in a way that provided us with an amazingly diverse set of portrait backgrounds. I love the pond and old barns and could’ve easily shot there all afternoon. But since Katie had been lent some really cool accessories for spirit week we chased the setting sun over to Snohomish High School for the last part of our session. I’m so glad we did because we created some of my all time favorite images in the process including the image I posted as a sneak peak and a few in the collection I’ve posted below:
