I’ve been blogging for almost three years and have developed a habit of thinking about what I might say with the pictures I am posting as I shoot them. Sometimes I can think of a million things to say, other times a single thought sticks with me throughout the event. In this case I keep thinking the same thing – to know Angie is to love her. And to know Russell is to be moved that such a strong and masculine man can have a a softer, emotional side when it comes to those he loves.
Here he is waiting to see Angie:

And my formal picture for this wedding isn’t the least bit stiff or boring…these guys were all so much fun and had such a sense of adventure….

The end of their twilight ceremony…I daresay this picture is lighter than the real life scene…one of the many reasons I love modern digital imaging:

One of my all time favorite responses to a pretty emotional toast by Russell’s brother:

First dance…makes me laugh :

These two were so much fun, so gracious and considerate, and always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed and that I too was having fun. Angie just oozed class and grace in a way that made me think she looked like Miss America…and while she may have spent the day looking like a beauty queen she definately became a dancing queen as soon as the sun went down:

I want this picture…I’m pretty sure it was taken while I was wearing a cowboy hat that was mysteriously placed on my head by an unknown person while I was shooting dancing pictures![]()
