I adore Matt and Jody for a long list of reasons – their genuine kindness, love of life, and sense of adventure first come to mind. I had wonderful hanging out with them as they finally tied the knot after being together for more than half of their life. I love how personalized this event was – every little detail was stunning. They were married at Jody’s parents’ house on Camano Island and I’m in awe over all the work that went into taking a wooded area full of blackberries and turning it into an amazing place to get married – complete with a hand made gazebo and benches that were made from the logs cleared from their property.
I doubt that this beautiful day popped into the head of Jody’s mom over a decade ago when Matt, then 14, told her that he was going to marry her daughter…and with that sweet little story that must make you go “awwee” I think it is time for some pictures…lots of pictures…
