Just Married: Justin and Shannon – The Pan Pacific Hotel – Seattle, WA

My what a wonderful time Roxie and I had with Justin and Shannon and their amazing friends and family…I was a little overwhelmed with how many people I had never met before Friday night made a point to come and talk with me about how much they loved Justin and Shannon’s engagement pictures and my work in general. In addition to making me feel great about what it is I do it was also a good reminder that I just never know who is reading my blog, viewing my website, or how what I do can impact someone I’ve never even met. Quite humbling really and another example of why I have the best job on the planet….

As for Justin and Shannon….I cannot put into words how sweet it was to watch a couple so madly in love dedicate their lives to each other, and how weddings remind me of just how important it is to have a great group of friends and family to share the best day of your life with. So…I’ll stick to pictures…

The lovely reception setup at The Pan Pacific Hotel in Seattle:

And of course I love climbing to get a better view:

The first look…love the dark moodiness of the candles:

Shannon was just *so* excited to be getting married…I know every bride is excited but she beamed in a way I don’t often see…here she is peeking through the crack in the door to see what the guests are doing:

A little dress twirling before the ceremony:

Shannon and her dad:

Signed, sealed, delivered, I’m yours…

First Dance:

Blessing dinner:

Bouquet:

As I’ve said many times before – if someone is important enough to be at your wedding I feel like they are important enough to be in pictures and I always try to get as many guests as possible…a few of my favorites:

Roxie shot this – I think during the father-daughter dance…I just love having a second set of eyes around:
