Jessica at Snoqualmie Falls

We spent the better part of our two hour session in rain that was often pouring hard from the sky. The rock that I had planned to use was under water but I was able to find others that worked just fine. Between the pouring rain and the spray from the overlowing waterfall there was enough moisture in the air to cause a misty effect on some of the photographs. Now the popularity of the misty look is before my time and as I looked at the images it actually occurred to me that this is the reason this effect has the name misty. Yeah, I know, duh!

This session to me is the entire reason I love what I do – the epitome of being passionate about my work. It was more adventurous that simply getting some pretty photograps in the park. We hiked, we climbed, we dripped – and all the while we laughed and created some great photographs in the process. Here are a few of my favorites so far:
