I’m not the kind of person who buys clothing for my dogs. So, it seems kind of silly buying a birthday cake for my blog. But I see it as a major accomplishment and I like an excuse to have carrot cake. I will say though that all the kids in the neighborhood happened to be outside my front door when I came home with a nice carrot cake from Safeway and when I told them it was a birthdya cake for something not human they immediately though it was my dogs’ birthdays. And then they asked for cake.
First though I couldn’t just take a cake shot, as that would be normal and boring. I had to blogify my blog birthday cake:
Like my own birthday, the blog birthday seems to be taking place when I’m busy working on many other projects – summer wedding albums, fall wedding editing, senior yearbook deadlines, a wedding show, and meeting lots of fun people getting married next year. So, much like my real birthday (December 26th) I’m going to push back a few things I wanted to do for a week or two. There will still be a photo contest and I’m going to post some pre blogging favorites. Hopefully you’ll all agree it ends up worth the wait.
