An underwater maternity portrait

As a wedding photographer I hear a lot of people comment about how nothing glows like a bride on her wedding day.

True. I guess.

I used to believe that wholeheartedly until my couples started having children and I’ve come to realize that women waiting for the birth of their child radiate so intensely it almost seems silly to compare it to how a bride glows on wedding day. I’m not quite done editing the whole session but so far this is my favorite underwater portrait from Alise’s maternity session last month. Little Lulu should be here any day and I cannot wait to meet her.
