A spontaneous trip to the fair

Last week was busy (two weddings, a bridal, and that doesn’t include everyone rushing to get photographs done in time for their yearbook deadline) and yesterday I felt like taking a break. As luck would have it the only show I was interested in seeing at the fair was sold out. But, I’m kind of stubborn so I clicked through from thefair.com to ticketmaster and found a set of seats still available. Good seats. Tenth row, center stage. So my sister and I took the night off and enjoyed some good healthy food (ok, not really) and some very talented emergying country artists. She works at 4am so we skipped out on the last act (oh well) but here are a few photographs the first two. I must say how much I like these smaller shows where they don’t hassle you over the length of your lense (like they did for Kenny in June…camera had to go back to the car which is sort of sad when you’re in the tenth row of a show. Yes, tenth row is a common place for me, it’s the third time I’ve been there in the last year)
