Seattle Wedding and Underwater Portrait Photographer Sacha Blue bio picture

Welcome to the Sacha Blue Blog!

I am a passionate wedding and portrait photographer based on a little island just outside of Seattle.

This is the place to see my latest favorite images, find all Sacha Blue announcements, and get to know the girl behind the camera.

I love telling stories, preserving genuine emotions, and basically making a moment in time stand still forever.

I love that people invite me to spend the best days of their lives with them. Even more I adore all of the amazing people I meet in the process and friendships I create along the way.

When I'm not working you're likely to find me at Luther Burbank playing with my dog, scuba diving in Puget Sound, eating Thai food with friends, or checking things off of my 30 By 30 List

The blog goes back over four years and is updated often - so stay for a while, come back soon, and don't forget to bookmark The Sacha Blue Blog!

I celebrated my lastest birthday this week (26th if you’re curious – both in terms of the date and the age) with friends and family. We had a few obstacles but were still able to have a good time, eat some good food and spend time together in a pretty festive Seattle Center....

An old cliche

They say that a single picture is worth a thousand words. I feel that this particular image speaks volumes about what this holiday season is supposed to be about. I also kind of feel like a cheater since the message is largely text based – however, it is a single photograph:-)
I do have...

Warm memories

I’ve been cold for a while now and longing to be somewhere warmer. They always tell you to think warm thoughs and I tried, but, so far no luck. I thought for sure that Kenny Chesney’s Be As You Are CD would make me feel warm – afterall it is full of references...
